

The death toll from the collapse of an unfinished building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga has climbed to three, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The BFP–Central Luzon on Monday morning released a video showing the recovery of the third casualty from the rubble. Authorities have yet to release further details on the identity of the victim.
The second fatality was reported shortly after midnight on Monday and was identified as a construction worker. Authorities were able to bring him to the hospital, but he was later declared dead on arrival.
On Sunday, the first reported fatality was a Malaysian national with a disability who was trapped inside an apartelle adjacent to the collapsed structure.
According to local authorities, the building collapsed at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Most of those believed to be trapped are construction workers.
Rescue teams from various government agencies continue to assist in ongoing search and recovery operations as authorities sift through the debris in an effort to locate the remaining missing persons.
