Television host Kim "Kuya Kim" Atienza became emotional after meeting rising educational content creator Louise Anne "Lans" Nagal, saying the veterinary medicine student reminded him of his late daughter, Emman.

In the latest episode of "Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim!" and its accompanying vlog, Atienza interviewed Nagal, who has gained a following for creating educational videos about veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and science trivia.

Toward the end of the interview, Atienza surprised Nagal by giving her one of the first hats he wore when he began his television career in 2004.

"Alam mo, natutuwa ako sa'yo sobra. Meron akong regalo sa'yo... Isa sa mga unang sombrero ko ito. I think you deserve this. I admire your content. I hope that you push on," Atienza said.

The gesture brought Nagal to tears as she thanked the veteran broadcaster, whom she described as one of her biggest inspirations in educational broadcasting.

"Naging inspiration ko po talaga kayo, Kuya Kim. Kayo po ang kauna-unahang educational broadcaster and hanggang ngayon po, grabe po 'yung heart n'yo para i-continue 'yung pag-e-educate din sa ibang tao," she said.

Atienza also became emotional, revealing that Nagal bears a striking resemblance to his late daughter, Emman.

"Kamukha nito anak ko eh. You look like Emman," he said through tears.

"Keep it up. I'm here for you, and I wish you all the success, Lans."

Emman passed away in October 2025 at the age of 19. In one of her last public messages posted on Instagram in September 2025, she spoke about the pressures of social media and her decision to take a break from TikTok.

During the interview, Nagal also shared that despite her growing popularity online, her dream remains to become a veterinarian.

"'Yun po talaga ang nasa puso ko," she said, explaining that finishing her studies remains her top priority.

She added that becoming a licensed veterinarian would allow her to help even more animals through proper treatment and medical care.

Known for her signature introduction, "This is Lanssss," Nagal has earned praise for making educational content engaging and relatable, offering informative videos amid the fast-paced and often entertainment-driven landscape of social media.
