Former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque claimed on Tuesday night that Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, who is currently in hiding, was betrayed.

“Meron nga daw na nang-hudas kay Bato,” Roque said in a Facebook post.

The statement follows rumors of the fugitive senator’s arrest, which law enforcement has denied.

Earlier, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Atty. Melvin Matibag told reporters that Dela Rosa remains at large.

Speaking to DZRH, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla both responded in the negative with respect to Dela Rosa's capture in separate statements.
