Atty. Orlando Mendiola arrived at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office Monday afternoon, accompanied by two other lawyers from the Rondain & Mendiola Law Firm.

They had no comments for the media regarding their supposed role in producing a script and an affidavit for the alleged sex scandal plot against Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, reported RH 15 Jecelle Ricafort.

Atty. Ruy Rondain, Mendiola’s co-founder of the said law firm and legal counsel to resigned Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co, was also expected to appear before the bureau pursuant to a subpoena in connection with the scandal plot allegations.

Speaking to DZRH, the arrested talent manager identified only as “Ken” embroiled in the allegedly salacious scandal scheme alleged that Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Leviste had sent four lawyers to fabricate a script and affidavit to tarnish Recto’s reputation.

Leviste has denied the accusation that he had committed to funding the sham.

Later, Mendiola would tell reporters he and the lawyers summoned before the NBI had no involvement in any scheme seeking to malign any individual.
