The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has identified the vehicle involved in a gas-and-run incident that took place early morning on May 3, 2026, along Mindanao Avenue in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City.

According to the QCPD, the incident occurred at around 3:16 a.m. at a gasoline station in the area. The suspect, described earlier as a man riding a blue sedan, allegedly filled up fuel worth ₱1,500 before speeding off without settling his bill.

Through extensive CCTV backtracking and coordination with nearby establishments and barangays, particularly Barangay Bahay Toro and Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, authorities were able to determine the vehicle involved.

Police identified the vehicle as a grayish blue Toyota Vios (2023 model) bearing plate number CBK 7953.

Further verification revealed that the car was purchased from Toyota Nueva Ecija and is registered under Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation (TFSPH). It was reportedly leased to an individual identified only by the alias “JHEROSALYN.”

The QCPD is urging the individual involved to voluntarily coordinate with authorities to clarify the incident and avoid possible legal consequences.

Authorities are also calling on the public to provide any information regarding the identity or whereabouts of those involved.
