The Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) on Tuesday, May 19 served another subpoena to personnel of the Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) in connection with the shooting incident inside the Senate on May 13.

Two CIDG personnel arrived at the Senate at around 6:07 p.m. to deliver the subpoena to the OSAA.

The subpoena orders the concerned personnel to appear before investigators on Wednesday, May 20, as part of the ongoing probe into the shooting incident that occurred last week.

Prior to this, former Senate Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza, suspended acting Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca, and several OSAA personnel had already been subpoenaed and appeared before the CIDG for questioning.

The CIDG did not provide further details regarding the investigation.

To recall, the the Office of the Ombudsman suspended Aplasca for six months without pay while a fact-finding investigation into the Senate shooting remains ongoing.

Meanwhile, Manuel Parlade has named officer-in-charge (OIC) of the OSAA following the following the preventive suspension of Aplasca.
