The Philippines’ bid for its first Mister Supranational crown remains ongoing as Felipe Marasigan ended his Mister Supranational 2026 journey with a Top 20 finish during the grand coronation night held on Sunday, August 2 (Philippine time), in Poland.
Marasigan represented the Philippines after earning the Mister Supranational Philippines 2026 title through the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide competition earlier this year.
Although he did not advance beyond the semifinal round, his placement continued the Philippines’ consistent presence in the Mister Supranational competition in recent years. The country recorded strong finishes through Brandon Espiritu’s 2nd Runner-Up placement in 2024 and Kenneth Cabungcal’s 4th Runner-Up finish in 2025.
His competition came a day after another historic Philippine pageant milestone, as Ma. Katrina Llegado was crowned Miss Supranational 2026, becoming the second Filipina to win the prestigious title after Mutya Johanna Datul, who brought home the Philippines’ first Miss Supranational crown in 2013.
During the Mister Supranational 2026 finals, Marasigan showcased his confidence and stage presence in the Confidence Round, where he competed among delegates from around the world. He later returned to the runway wearing an all-white creation by Filipino designer Albert Andrada.
Before the coronation night, Marasigan also delivered notable performances in several pre-pageant competitions. He secured a Top 10 placement in the Mister Supra Chat Challenge, which was won by Puerto Rico’s Lazzaro Oertli Ortiz.
Additionally, Marasigan advanced to the Top 5 of the Supra Model of the Year competition, where China’s Daniel Jiawei Li emerged as the winner. Marasigan was likewise included in the Top 10 of the Supra Influencer Challenge, which was won by Cambodia’s Thoanvannak You.
The Mister Supranational 2026 crown was ultimately awarded to Spain’s Pedro Cordero, who was named the newest titleholder of the Poland-based international male pageant.
While the elusive Mister Supranational crown remains out of reach for the Philippines, Marasigan’s performance added to the country’s growing legacy in the competition and followed a successful weekend for Philippine pageantry after Llegado’s historic Miss Supranational victory.
