A total of 12,168 people visited six cemeteries in Marikina City as Filipinos observed Undas 2026 on Sunday, November 1, according to the Marikina City Police Station's 1 p.m. situation report.
Loyola Memorial Park recorded the highest number of visitors at 9,500, followed by Aglipay Cemetery with 1,200, Barangka Cemetery with 800, and OLA Cemetery with 400.
Meanwhile, 250 visitors were recorded at Holy Child Cemetery, while 18 visited the Saint Paul of the Cross Parish Columbarium.
The police also reported the deployment of 76 personnel, composed of seven Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and 69 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), to maintain peace and order in the six cemeteries.
No prohibited items were confiscated as of the reporting period.
The latest figures came as PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. earlier described the overall security situation during Undas 2026 as generally peaceful, attributing it to the police force's early security preparations and nationwide deployment.
