American pop star Olivia Rodrigo and British actor Louis Partridge have reportedly gone their separate ways after two years of dating, according to a UK-based newspaper.
The publication reported that Rodrigo attended Lily Allen’s high-profile party in London on Saturday, December 20, where she was seen becoming emotional while discussing the breakup, even allegedly “broke down in tears.”
“It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now," a source told the news outlet.
“Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it. Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now,” it added.
Speculation surrounding their split surfaced despite recent moments that suggested otherwise, including Partridge publicly expressing admiration for Rodrigo after she headlined this year’s Glastonbury Festival, one of the UK’s biggest music events.
Partridge was also seen supporting the singer during her “Guts” tour stop in the Philippines in October 2024, where the couple drew attention and excited fans while spending time together around Manila.
Rodrigo, best known for her hit “Driver’s License,” and Partridge first fueled romance rumors in October 2023 after they were photographed kissing in New York City. They later made their official debut as a couple at the Venice International Film Festival the following year.
