No explosives were found at the University of the East (UE) Manila following a bomb threat that prompted police to conduct clearing operations on Tuesday, October 20.
As reported by DZRH’s Tina Nolasco, the Manila Police District (MPD) said personnel from Barbosa Police Station (PS-14) responded after a student discovered a yellow piece of paper bearing a bomb threat on top of a toilet tank in a women’s restroom on the ground floor of the Dalupan Building.
The MPD District Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (DECU) joined the response team in conducting inspection and clearing operations throughout the building.
The inspection concluded at around 2:45 p.m., with authorities confirming that no explosive device was found on the university premises.
