The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has warned the public against an alleged phishing website named "May Huli Ba," which falsely poses as part of the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) system.
In a social media post on Tuesday, the MMDA said it received a report from the National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) under the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
"Na-detect ng NCERT ang isang phishing website na "May Huli Ba." Ang malisyosong site tricks na ito ay humihingi ng sensitibong impormasyon tulad ng license plate number," the MMDA said.
The MMDA urged the public to stay alert and avoid clicking on suspicious websites or links.
On Monday, the MMDA officially launched a new version of its "May Huli Ka" website, where motorists can check if they have any violations under the NCAP.
The official website can be accessed at mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph.
