The commander of Malate Police Station and all members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit have been dismissed following an alleged robbery involving six police officers in Makati City.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Major General Anthony Aberin told DZRH News that the dismissed personnel will undergo a thorough investigation to determine their possible liabilities.
Aberin warned all our personnel that anyone who commits a crime will be removed from service and may face imprisonment.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening along Arsonvel Street, Barangay San Isidro, Makati City. According to police investigation, the victims reportedly met two women in Malate, Manila, who invited them to Makati to retrieve some of their belongings. Upon arriving at the location, they were allegedly blocked by a group of armed men.
