Television personality Kuya Kim Atienza paid tribute to his daughter Emman’s first death anniversary.
In an Instagram story on Thursday, October 22, Atienza shared a photo taken from Emman’s memorial site, with two bags of Lays chips, sampaguita flowers, and a bouquet of white lilies.
“1 year emmansky. Your advocacy lives on,” he captioned his post.

In a separate post on Threads, Atienza wrote, “A little kindness saves lives. Here’s to better days!”
A day before his daughter’s death anniversary, Atienza attended a mental health caravan in celebration of World Mental Health Month. In his speech, Atienza spoke about Emman’s advocacy of spreading a little kindness, despite her mental health condition.
“My daughter Emman stood for a little kindness. She was so kind… In the middle of her pain, her depression, her being s**cidal, she was reaching out to a lot of kids.. Despite her sickness, she was giving advice; she was there, she was present, direct messaging kids who come to her for mental health advice,” Atienza said in his speech.
“A little kindness saves lives; this is Emman’s message,” he added.
‘Your laughter echoes’
In an Instagram carousel, Atienza’s wife, Felicia Hung Atienza, shared photos to remember their daughter.
“One year without you, my beautiful mini-me Emman. I hear the music. In heaven, you dance freely. Your laughter echoes,” she wrote.
Emman died in October 2025 at 19 years old. A known advocate for mental health and kindness, Emman had openly discussed her own mental health journey before her passing.
