Filipina singer Kristel Herrera, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, delivered a goosebumps-inducing performance of “Run to You” by Whitney Houston on the latest episode of Britain's Got Talent, earning widespread praise from both judges and viewers.

At the end of her audition, Herrera received four “yes” votes from judges KSI, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Stacey Solomon—who was filling in for head judge Simon Cowell, along with a standing ovation from the audience.

“That was sensational. Absolutely outstanding. Like, your technique was 10 out of 10,” Dixon said, while Holden added she was “blown away,” noting how Herrera transformed “into a complete diva” once she began singing.

Following her successful audition, Herrera advanced to the next round of the competition, where she will compete for a coveted spot in the live semifinals. The upcoming live shows are set to begin on April 26 in the UK (April 27 in Philippine time).

Her performance follows another Filipino success story on the same stage, with Matty Juniosa previously earning the Golden Buzzer, automatically securing her place in the live semifinals. Together, their achievements highlight the continued rise of Filipino talent in the global entertainment scene.
