The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has announced a ban on videoke sessions beyond 10 p.m., Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said on Thursday.

In a press conference, Remulla emphasized that anyone disturbed by neighbors exceeding the set time can report the incident by calling 911.

Exceptions may be granted for special events with proper permits.

“Maliban.

Meanwhile, the DILG chief reminded the public that men are now required to wear shirts in public areas.

“It is an act of civility na magbihis naman kayo habang nasa kalye kayo. Pag kayo ay walang suot na t-shirt na talagang palakad-lakad, kahit gano'ng kainit magsando man lang kayo,” he added.

The agency also announced that drinking alcohol in streets and other public areas will be strictly enforced to ensure community safety.
