More Filipino artists are throwing their hats into the ring for the 2027 Grammy Awards, joining P-pop groups SB19 and BINI in seeking consideration for music's most prestigious honors.

Singer Carmelle Collado, the grand winner of singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” folk-pop band Ben&Ben, “Idol Philippines” champion Khimo, rising girl group Baby Dolls, pop band Cup of Joe, and singer-actress Maymay Entrata have announced that their songs are up for Grammy consideration.

Collado submitted “Morena,” from her debut album, for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category.

“Batang Bikolana, bringing spice all over the world!” Collado wrote in an Instagram post, describing the submission as a milestone for her music career and a tribute to aspiring Filipino artists.

“This is for all the young girls like me na patuloy na nangangarap maibandera ang OPM!” she added.

Ben&Ben, meanwhile, submitted a reimagined version of its hit song “Leaves” for consideration in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

The band acknowledged the long odds of earning a Grammy nomination but said it was willing to take a chance.

“Suntok sa buwan, imposibleng pangarap, pero susubok pa rin!” the group said in a Facebook post, thanking its fans, known as Liwanag, for supporting its musical journey.

Khimo, who rose to prominence after winning “Idol Philippines,” submitted his song “Isayaw Mo Lang” for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category.

“Takas muna sa kaguluhan, tara muna makiyugyugan!” he wrote on Facebook, thanking listeners for their continued support and urging them to keep championing Original Pilipino Music.

The Baby Dolls, a rising girl group associated with “It's Showtime,” also announced that their song “Oohh Lala Baby” is up for consideration in the same category.

The group expressed gratitude to fans for listening to their music and supporting Filipino pop acts.

Singer and actress Maymay Entrata likewise announced that her song “Masunog Man” is being considered for Best Asian Pop Music Performance.

Entrata said she was closely involved in the song's production, working with Greg Shilling, Brian Kierulf and Jonathan Manalo. She also worked on its choreography with AXIS PH and developed the music video concept with UMU.

The singer described the track as deeply personal, saying it represents the grief she experienced following her mother's death.

“This makes me feel so seen,” Entrata said, expressing gratitude for the song's inclusion in the consideration process.

OPM band Cup of Joe has also submitted its song “Sandali” for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Performance category at the 2027 Grammy Awards.

The song is about finding more time with the people who matter most. In its announcement, the band thanked its fans, known as Joewahs, for their continued support as the group pursues its musical dreams.

“Mula sa mga awit na atin lang munang pinagsasaluhan, hanggang sa mga pangarap na unti-unti nating naaabot,” the band said, expressing gratitude to fans for being part of its journey.

The announcements add to the growing list of Filipino acts seeking recognition from the Recording Academy, which presents the annual Grammy Awards.

However, being submitted for Grammy consideration does not guarantee a nomination. Eligible recordings must undergo the Academy's review and voting processes before the official nominees are announced.
