Miss Universe Philippines 2026 winner Bea Millan-Windorski has expressed heartfelt gratitude following her victory at the coronation night of the national pageant.
In a series of social media posts featuring highlights from the event, Millan-Windorski reflected on her journey from being one of the official candidates to ultimately being crowned the winner. She described the experience as surreal, writing: “It wasn’t all just a dream.”
She also extended her appreciation to her supporters, saying: “Thank you to everyone who believed in me before I believed in myself.”
The pageant was held last Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena, where Millan-Windorski bested more than 50 candidates from across the country.
During the crucial Top 7 question-and-answer segment, she delivered a heartfelt response when asked why the Philippines remains worth representing despite growing frustrations among Filipinos.
“The Philippines is a place I've been in love with my whole life… I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people. We need to create local opportunities so families don’t have to be separated just to survive and thrive. If I were given the title of Miss Universe Philippines, I promise to be a public servant for all,” she said.
Millan-Windorski previously held the Miss Earth USA 2024 title and later earned the Miss Earth–Water 2024 placement in the Miss Earth competition, strengthening her reputation as a consistent and competitive figure in international pageantry.
Raised in the United States, she has maintained strong ties to her Filipino heritage, frequently visiting the Philippines during her childhood. Her multicultural upbringing has played a major role in shaping her advocacies.
Her platform focuses on environmental justice, climate refugees, and the protection of migrant workers. She also leads the initiative “Open Doors, Open Hearts,” which supports displaced communities affected by climate change.
