The House of Representatives on Wednesday, May 6, approved a motion to include the Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte in its calendar of business.

After its approval, House Secretary General Atty. Cheloy Garafil was directed to immediately furnish electronic copies of the Committee Report No. 261, containing House Resolution No. 989, including its annexes, through their registered respective email addresses, and post electronic copies of the downloadable form.

Over 50 lawmakers sponsored the committee report, including Representatives: Atty. Gerville "Jinky Bitrics" R. Luistro, Mauricio G. Domogan, Brian Poe, Ysabel Maria J. Zamora, Jonathan Keith T. Flores, Leila M. De Lima, and others.

Earlier this week, the House Committee on Justice approved by a 55-0 vote the committee report setting forth the Articles of Impeachment against the vice president. According to Luistro, the committee found probable cause to proceed with the impeachment proceedings against Duterte.
