The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) on Tuesday issued a public advisory reminding all passengers of the prohibited items in the ports under its helm.

According to PPA, pork and meat products are among the items that are not allowed to bring.

Below are the Port areas that enforce the pork and meat ban:

• Batangas
• Marinduque
• Cebu
• Mindoro
• Negros Island
• Bohol
• Masbate
• Palawan
• Negros Oriental
• Panay
• Negros Occidental
• Banago
• Bohol
• Western Leyte
• Misamis Occidental
• Davao
• Zamboanga
• Lanao del Norte

Meanwhile, chicken meats as well as live chicken are not allowed in the ports of Mindoro, Masbate, Bacolod, Misamis Oriental, and Cagayan de Oro.
