In the exclusive interview on DZRH TV's Point of View, Angat Lahat - Malabon President Ralph Vicente shared that a Malabon youth group quietly addresses gaps in education, rights, and youth participation.

From a 2022 volunteer campaign, it grew into a youth-led NGO with around 70 members, registered with the National Youth Commission.

Their programs, Buklatuwa and Ang Angatlatan, teach non-readers and out-of-school youth to read and write, bridging gaps caused by poverty.

They achieved a milestone by joining the local school board after civil society accreditation, giving youth a direct voice in education policy.

Beyond education, they empower women and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. In 2023, they held women’s seminars in Barangay Tonsuya and launched Malabon’s first Pride March.

Despite their youth, the group proves that age is no barrier to change. Every child who learns, every woman empowered, and every voice heard brings gradual transformation to their community.
