A young girl died after being hit by a bus along the national highway in Barangay Dancalan, Bobon, Northern Samar, on Christmas Day, December 25.

Police identified the victim as Angela, a resident of the town. According to initial reports, she was with friends going house-to-house for Christmas greetings when she attempted to cross the road while carrying candies she had received.

A passing Elavil bus allegedly struck her, causing fatal injuries.

The incident has drawn widespread grief online, with teachers, classmates, and friends expressing their condolences over the tragic loss.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
