Actress Xyriel Manabat has expressed her disappointment after a viral social media post by a TNVS driver allegedly contained a vulgar caption about their photo together.

Manabat recounted that she rode the TNVS vehicle professionally, dressed appropriately, and even allowed the driver to take a picture with her.

“Hindi ko ‘to palalampasin. Imagine, kung gaano kahirap ang buhay ng babae. Nagtrabaho ka lang, may nagpa-picture sa’yo, you’re just being you, and then this is what you get in return,” Manabat said.

The post, uploaded by Facebook user “Boss Toyo Mansi”, showed the photo of the actress smiling with the driver. However, the caption and comments reportedly contained inappropriate and suggestive language.

Further comments by the driver allegedly included the word “J*kol,” raising concerns about online harassment and public disrespect toward women.
