A woman in Cebu City became viral on social media after risking her life to save her two pet dogs from a burning building in Mandaue City.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at a three-story building in Sto. Niño, Brgy. Guizo, Mandaue City.

In videos circulating online, thick smoke and flames can be seen engulfing the building. From the third floor, the woman carefully lowered her two dogs one by one, while bystanders caught them safely below.

After ensuring the dogs were safe, the woman attempted to descend the building using a ladder with her feet.

The tense moment captured viewers’ attention as she nearly fell due to the ladder being too short, forcing her to hang momentarily before safely reaching the ground with the assistance of firefighters.

Both the woman and her pets were unharmed.
