The award-winning musical film "La la Land" is coming to the Broadway stage!
On Tuesday, Broadway Buzz reported that the "La la land" movie will be adapted into a stage musical.
It said that Justin Hurwitz, the film's music composer, will also be the one to compose the Broadway stage score music.
Meanwhile, Marc Platt and Lionstage are the producers and Bartlett Sher is the director.
The film "La la land", starred by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, first premiered at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival in August 2016.
The movie has received six Academy Awards in 2017.
The comedy-drama film was adapted from a book written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and novelist Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker.
"La la Land" revolves around a dedicated jazz pianist who struggles to make ends meet and an aspiring actress.
Their respective passion in life has brought them together.
