

Several local government units have suspended classes on Monday, November 25, as Tropical Depression Verbena continues to affect large parts of the country with rains and strong winds.
As of 5:00 a.m., Verbena maintained its strength while moving northwest toward Negros Island. The weather system was last located over the waters off Pinamungahan, Cebu.
Signal No. 1 remains raised over various provinces across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA reports that Tropical Depression Verbena continues to bring widespread rains across the Visayas and parts of Luzon and Mindanao. Signal No. 1 is currently in effect over areas including:

Luzon: Mindoro provinces, Romblon, northern and central Palawan including Calamian and Cuyo Islands, and most of Masbate

Visayas: Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros provinces, Cebu, Bohol, Samar provinces, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte

Mindanao: Dinagat Islands, parts of Caraga, Agusan provinces, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, portions of Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga del Norte
