Several local government units (LGUs) suspended classes on Friday, Aug. 7, as former Tropical Depression Maymay and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continued to bring rains across parts of the country.

National Capital Region (NCR)

  • Marikina City – All levels, public and private
  • Parañaque City – All levels, public and private
  • Manila – All levels, public and private (Shift to alternative delivery modes)
  • Caloocan City – All levels, public and private (Face-to-face classes suspended; shift to asynchronous classes)
  • Las Piñas City – All levels, public and private
  • Malabon City – All levels, public and private (Face-to-face classes suspended; shift to alternative delivery mode)
  • Mandaluyong City – All levels, public and private (Face-to-face classes suspended; shift to alternative delivery mode)
  • Muntinlupa City – All levels, public and private (Distance learning/asynchronous classes encouraged)
  • Pasay City – All levels, public and private, including Child Development Centers (Face-to-face classes suspended; shift to alternative modalities)
