Vice President Sara Duterte has called on Filipinos to embrace faith, hope, and unity in observance of Undas 2025, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, dedicated to honoring departed loved ones and celebrating the lives of the saints.

In a video message released on Friday, Duterte reminded the public to reflect on the true spirit of Undas by remembering those who have passed on, praying for the peace of their souls, and finding inspiration in their legacy of love and faith.

“Ngayong Undas, nawa’y manaig ang pagkakaisa at pag-asa sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Harapin natin ang bawat araw ng may pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pagmamahal,” Duterte said in a video message.

Duterte urged Filipino families to draw strength from their faith and to continue fostering unity and compassion amid challenges.

“Sa ating paggunita ng Undas, nawa’y isapuso natin ang tunay na diwa ng pananampalataya, pagpapahalaga sa mga Santo, at maalab na pag-alala sa ating mga yumaong mahal sa buhay. Patuloy natin ipanalangin ang kapayapaan at katahimikan ng kanilang mga kaluluwa,” the Vice President said.

She also encouraged the public to use this time of remembrance to strengthen family ties and uphold the values that bind communities together.
