Vice President Sara Duterte underscored the significance of faith, devotion, and service in her message on the occasion of the feast of the Black Nazarene.
She emphasized that the annual celebration of the Black Nazarene reminds Filipinos of Christ’s love, sacrifice, and humility.
VP Sara also highlighted the perseverance of the devotees, noting that each step taken during the procession, despite challenges and hardships, strengthens their faith.
She described the feast not only as a traditional celebration but also as a call to reflection, repentance, and gratitude for the blessings received.
The annual Traslacion of the Jesus Nazarene in Manila draws millions of devotees who participate in one of the country’s most deeply rooted religious traditions.
