Vice President Sara Duterte dropped by the San Isidro Labrador Parish Church at Musuan in Maramag, Bukidnon during her visit to Valencia City.

Duterte said she prayed for peace for the country, safety for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs)—particularly those currently in the Middle East—as well as the safe return of her father, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

“Ipinagdasal natin ang kaayusan at kapayapaan ng ating bansa, ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kababayan na nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa, lalo na sa Gitnang Silangan, gayundin ang ligtas na pag-uwi ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa ating bayan,” she said in a social media post.

The Vice President thanked the parishioners for their warm welcome and prayers for both her and her father, who is currently being held at the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) detention facility and being tried for alleged crimes against humanity.
