Vice President Sara Duterte greeted the Filipino-Chinese community a Happy Lunar New Year on Tuesday, calling for bold action in pursuit of greater rewards.

“Happy Lunar New Year to our Filipino-Chinese communities around the world. Xin Nian Kuai Le. As we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, let us embrace this beginning with courage. This is a year of high energy and bold action—offering big rewards for those with the courage to take them,” she said.

She urged the public to move forward in the spirit of bayanihan and strive for growth and wished them abundance, good health, and peace.

She exhorted Filipinos to unite for a better Philippines.

“Magkaisa tayong itaguyod ang isang mas maunlad at masaganang Pilipinas para sa lahat. Gong Xi Fa Cai! Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas, para sa Diyos, sa Bayan, at sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino,” she said.

A third impeachment complaint was filed against Vice President Duterte last week, February 9, submitted by a coalition of clergy members, lawyers, and other concerned individuals, led by Atty. Armando Virgil Ligutan.
