Vice President Sara Duterte delivered a Christmas video message urging Filipinos to share their blessings and show compassion, especially to those facing hardships.
In her message, Duterte said Christmas becomes more meaningful when people extend help to the sick, the orphaned, the homeless, victims of disasters and violence, and sectors experiencing neglect. She reminded Filipinos that hope and strength come from kindness and faith, which guide families and the nation.
“Lagi natin ipagdasal ang biyaya ng kapayapaan at katatagan ng ating minamahal na bansa,” she said, adding that a grateful heart is generous, loving, and forgiving.
She closed her message by encouraging unity and love for the country, saying, “Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas para sa Diyos, sa bayan, at sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino,” and wished everyone a joyful Christmas.
