VP Sara dismisses allegations on her involvement with Quiboloy
by Christhel Cuazon21 February 2024

Vice President Sara Duterte remained unfazed by the recent allegations surrounding her and her involvement with controversial Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

In a video message, Duterte said it is necessary to create an issue and attack anyone sitting at the second highest post in the government.

While she did not directly address the issue, the Vice President said she is anticipating more attacks to be thrown against her.

Duuterte's statement comes after a former member of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Davao City testified that Quiboloy would give Sara and her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, bags containing guns to his property called "Glory Mountain."

The testimony of "Ramon" during Monday's Senate hearing is part of the ongoing investigation over the alleged sexual abuse and maltreatment of some of his followers.

Focus on her job

Amid these, Duterte vowed to focus on performing her task as vice president and work on the problems of the nations instead of issues hurled against her.

“Panahon ngayon ng aking pagtatrabaho. Tutuparin ko ang sinumpaang tungkulin. Uunahin ko ang mga tunay na suliranin. Uunahin ko ang Pilipino,” she said.
