“Dalawang bagay po ‘yung kailangang pagpilian ng Pangalawang Pangulo kung ito po ‘yung pag-uusapan po natin. Una, kung totoong hindi siya kumuha ng killer, ibig sabihin, you have a Vice President that lies. Pero kung totoo na nag-contract siya ng killer, then you have a vice president that contracts a killer. Mamili nalang po siya sa dalawang bagay na iyon,” Ridon said

“And, on both counts, tingin ko hindi po katanggap-tanggap sa taumbayan na mayro’n kang pangalawang pangulo na nagsisinungaling sa harap ng bayan o pangalawang pangulo na kumukuha ng mamamatay-tao,”

Ridon pointed out that Duterte’s case was worse than Senator Marcoleta’s, as she is the second-highest official of the land and is eyeing the Presidential seat in 2028

“Is this the kind of president that we want?”

Rep. Garin likened the situation to having a bus driver caught using drugs and a boarding house administrator caught peeking at their boarders. She questioned whether such people should still be trusted with their duties—the same principle is to be applied to Duterte as vice president

“So ang pinag-uusapan dito ay tiwala, ang capability to lead and perform commensurate to your position. Iyan ang pinag-uusapan. At dapat nga, huwag ilihis, ibalik natin: nangyari ba ang grave threats?” Garin said
