The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has officially revoked the driver’s license of a popular vlogger after netizens reported a viral video showing him committing multiple traffic violations.

In the video, the vlogger was seen driving a Ford Expedition with a fake license plate and without wearing a seatbelt. He was also frequently glancing at his mobile phone camera while driving, which obstructed his view of the road and posed a potential danger to other motorists.

According to LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, the vlogger failed to attend the scheduled hearing conducted by the LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) to submit his verified explanation regarding the alleged violations. These include Failure to Attach Authorized Motor Vehicle License Plate, Mandatory Use of Seatbelt, Distracted Driving, Reckless Driving, and Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.

Asec. Lacanilao explained that due to the vlogger’s disregard of the previously issued LTO Show Cause Order, the agency decided to revoke his driver’s license.

Meanwhile, the Ford Expedition remains on alert and cannot be driven until it undergoes a complete roadworthiness inspection at the LTO Motor Vehicle Inspection Facility.
