Vietnam has been announced as the host country for the 75th anniversary edition of Miss World, marking a historic milestone for the global pageant. The revelation came during the Dances of Vietnam gala, a preliminary event of Miss World Vietnam.

Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, together with reigning Miss World Opal Suchata—the first-ever winner from Thailand—will officially announce the dates and host city of the grand finale alongside Sen. Vang during the Miss World Vietnam Final on March 29.

“I am truly delighted to celebrate 75 years of Miss World and Beauty With a Purpose in Vietnam, a country that exudes culture, warmth, and an extraordinary sense of hospitality and that has always welcomed us with open arms. I very much look forward to arriving in Vietnam and sharing this special moment with its wonderful people,” Morley said.

Excitement immediately spread across Miss World’s social media platforms, with candidates, license holders, and fans around the globe expressing their support.

Last year, the Philippines’ own Krishnah Gravidez reached the Top 8 and was awarded Miss World Asia, highlighting the country’s strong presence on the global stage.

For the upcoming edition, Asia Rose Simpson will represent the Philippines, aiming to secure the country’s second Miss World crown after Megan Young brought home the title in 2013.
