

Veteran actress Vangie Labalan has passed away due to illness at the age of 83, confirmed her family.
Her death was announced on Thursday, February 12, by her son Carlo Labalan on social media.
Vangie died in Australia, surrounded by her loved ones.
“To everyone who know her, love her, and was touched by her kindness, we extend our deepest gratitude. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched,” Carlo Labalan wrote.
The actress’ remains will be flown back to the Philippines, Carlo said. Details regarding her wake and funeral services are yet to be announced.
During Vangie’s career—which spanned decades—she starred in various movies and TV shows. She is most known for her roles in TV series “Batang Quiapo,” “Ang Probinsyano,” and “Make It With You,” as well as films “Mallari,” and “Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan.”
