Veteran actor Bing Davao passed away on December 20 at the age of 65.
The actor’s sudden passing was confirmed by his niece, Rikki Mae Davao, through a local news outlet.
“He passed away early this morning from a cardiac attack,” said Rikki.
Bing Davao was previously featured in an interview on Julius Babao’s vlog, where he openly shared his hope of returning to the entertainment industry, describing himself as already being in the “last chapter” of his life.
In the interview aired on November 13, Bing recalled that actor-producer Coco Martin had promised his late brother, Ricky Davao, a job opportunity. However, the plan did not come to fruition following Ricky’s death in May. Bing later expressed his willingness to take on the opportunity originally intended for his brother, hoping to pay back on his family, who had repeatedly assisted him during times of financial difficulty.
The late actor was widely recognized for his roles in several television shows and films, including “Kahit Butas ng Karayom,” “Papasukin Ko,” “Homicide Manila Police,” “Ang Probisyano,” “Pangako Sa ’Yo,” and “Darna.”
