Still thinking of the perfect Valentine's gift to get your loved ones? If yes, then hit two birds with one stone with this 'Gulay Bouquet' and at the same time, help our distressed farmers.
On Monday, community pantry founder Ana Patricia 'Patreng' Non announced on Facebook their newest initiative this love month — a vegetable bouquet!
"Sa padating na Valentine's Day maaari pa natin i-extend ang pagmamahal natin sa iba mula sa pagbili natin ng gulay bouquet sa Community Pantry PH," Non wrote.
"Deserve natin lahat ng healthy na pagmamahal!"
Each vegetable bouquet weighs nearly 5 kilograms and costs PHP 1,500, on top of a P150-shipping fee. It features an assortment of vegetables that are all locally grown in the country.
Proceeds of the initiative will directly benefit Filipino farmers, specifically their vegetable production.
Delivery is scheduled between 10 AM to 6 PM either on Sunday, February 12, or Monday, February 13.

Non is the woman behind the first community pantry in Quezon City that, later on, sparked a nationwide movement of the same initiative amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
In May last year, the United States Embassy recognized Non with the Ambassador’s Woman of Courage Award for starting the country’s first community pantry.
