Filipino pharmaceutical company Unilab, Inc. has been recognized as the highest-ranked ASEAN-based company in TIME magazine and Statista’s Asia-Pacific’s Best Employers of 2027, placing 24th among 500 companies in the region.

Unilab scored 89.15 out of 100, leading other Philippine companies in the ranking, including Ayala Corporation, Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, San Miguel Corporation, and Jollibee Foods Corporation.

The inaugural ranking, announced on November 3, was based on an independent survey of more than 80,000 employees across the Asia-Pacific region. The assessment covered employee satisfaction, workplace reputation, and their willingness to recommend their employers to others.

Founded in 1945, Unilab has grown from a small drugstore in Binondo, Manila, into one of Southeast Asia's major pharmaceutical companies.
