OCD Deputy Administrator Assistant Secretary Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said that fatalities were recorded in the following areas:
- 3 - Region II (landslide)

- 1 - Region V (drowning)
- 1 - Region VI (electrecution)

At least 28 individuals have been reported injured, while two others remain missing. The OCD official also stated that more than two million individuals have been displaced due to the onslaught of Super Typhoon Uwan.
“As of 6 a.m., the affected and displaced population has reached 2.4 million individuals or about 653,000 families from 6,900 barangays located in areas hit by Typhoon Uwan,” Alejandro said.
Currently, a total of 11,000 evacuation centers are operating nationwide, providing temporary shelter to around 804,000 families.
The OCD also reported that 267 barangays experienced flooding, while 19 were affected by storm surges. Around 4,100 houses were damaged, though assessments on infrastructure and agricultural losses are still ongoing.
“We are still conducting rapid damage and needs assessments, and we expect to receive more detailed information within the next 24 hours from field teams,” Alejandro added.
Typhoon Uwan brought torrential rains and strong winds across Northern and Central Luzon over the weekend, prompting widespread evacuations and disrupting communication and power services in several provinces.
