

Two siblings were found dead in Sitio Nagtupacan, Barangay Isit, Dolores, Abra on Thursday morning, January 8.
According to a report by Romy Gonzales in Mega Balita Linggo, the victims, aged 29 and 25, were both residents of the area and sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the Dolores Municipal Police Station, the siblings were riding a motorcycle and were on their way to a nearby river when they were shot by an unidentified suspect.
Residents living near the area told police they heard gunshots on Wednesday night, January 7, but did not immediately report the incident to authorities.
At around 6 a.m. on January 8, a resident discovered the bodies and alerted the police.
Authorities recovered nine spent bullet shells at the crime scene.
Police said an investigation is ongoing to determine the motive for the killing and to identify the suspect.
