Two most-wanted individuals facing charges of rape, lascivious conduct, and qualified theft were arrested in separate operations conducted by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
RH Jhun Suter reports that the first suspect—a 31-year-old resident of Barangay Mintal, Tugbok—was apprehended around 6:50 AM on November 19 in Purok 6B, Barangay Bago-Oshiro, Davao City.
Operatives from the Tugbok Police Station, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Davao del Norte Police, served a warrant of arrest for rape and three counts of lascivious conduct.
The warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Presiding Judge Dante Baguio, who recommended no bail for the charges.
Meanwhile, at around 11:30 PM, authorities also arrested a 51-year-old resident of Barangay Leon Garcia, Agdao, Davao City. The suspect was taken into custody based on a warrant for qualified theft issued by RTC Branch 14 Presiding Judge Bernales-Largo, also with no bail recommended.
The DCPO said it continues to intensify its campaign to track down high-profile fugitives, emphasizing its commitment to maintaining peace and security in Davao City.
