Erwin Tulfo leads possible 2025 senatorial bets survey

Broadcaster and ACT-CIS party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo has topped the survey conducted by OCTA Research on possible candidates for the May 2-25 senatorial elections.

Conducted from July 22 to 26, the Tugon ng Masa survey showed 73 percent of Filipinos will support Tulfo if ever he vies for a senatorial post. He was followed by Sen. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go at 55 percent and former senator and presidential aspirant Vicente "Tito" Sotto 3rd at 49 percent.

In the fourth to fifth spots were Sen. Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa with 44 percent; Sen. Imee Marcos with 43 percent; and former senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao with 38 percent.

Sharing the 6th to 10th places were Senator Pia Cayetano with 37 percent, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. with 36 percent, former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso with 35 percent, and Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid with 33 percent.

Former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Francis Tolentino have an overall voting preference of 26 percent (11th to 13th place) and 23 percent (11th to 15th place), respectively.

Completing the list of probable winners were former Vice President Noli De Castro, with 21 percent (11th to 16th place), and Dr. Willie Ong and TV personality Willie Revillame, both with 19 percent (12th to 20th place).

The “Tugon ng Masa” survey was conducted using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents aged 18 and up.
