Tropical Storm Quedan enters PAR

Tropical Storm “Nakri” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was given the local name “Quedan,” the PAGASA said.
As of 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, Quedan was located at 1,370 km East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and central pressure of 998 hPa.
It is currently moving north-northwestward at 30 km/h.
Based on its latest update, no Wind Signal is currently hoisted. Moreover, Quedan is less likely to directly affect the weather conditions in the country.
The state weather bureau said that Quedan may exit PAR by Thursday evening (October 9) or on early Friday (October 10).
