Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Friday again accused members of the Duterte family of receiving a total of P181.65 million from Davao-based businessman Samuel “Sammy” Uy, whom he identified as a “drug lord.“

Trillanes made the allegation during a press conference at Club Filipino in San Juan City, following the withdrawal of his name from the prosecution’s witness lineup in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

According to Trillanes, the alleged payments were made between 2011 and 2013 and involved not only Vice President Duterte and former President Rodrigo Duterte but also other members of the family.

He presented the following amounts:

  • Former President Rodrigo Duterte: P15.65 million
  • Vice President Sara Duterte: P22.32 million
  • Davao City 1st District Paolo Duterte: P38.81 million
  • Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte: P51.58 million
  • Honeylet Avanceña and Veronica Duterte: P53.27 million

Trillanes said the alleged transactions were significant because, despite the Duterte family's public stance against illegal drugs during their political careers, they allegedly received money from an individual he described as a drug lord.

He described the alleged dealings as the “biggest deception in Philippine history” and said the allegations must be brought to light through the truth.

Trillanes had previously raised the allegations during a House Committee on Justice hearing on April 22, 2026. A report at the time said he attributed the P181.65-million figure to alleged transactions involving members of the Duterte family.

The former senator said his allegations are supported by official documents, which he claimed could be presented before the impeachment court.

Trillanes also said he would have presented the documents under oath had he been called to testify in the impeachment proceedings.

“Lahat po ’yan backed up by official documents.

He added that he had volunteered to testify because he was prepared to substantiate his allegations with documentary evidence.
