A top priority illegal drug personality and his alleged accomplice were arrested after a successful buy-bust operation conducted by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) on Tuesday afternoon, July 1, in Purok Denda, SIR New Town, Barangay Bago Gallera.

According to a report by Jhun Suter, authorities identified the primary target only by the alias "Brad."

Police said operatives confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P7,723,440, along with other pieces of evidence related to the operation.

The buy-bust operation was led by the Talomo Police Station under the command of Police Major Harold Untalan, in coordination with the 2nd City Mobile Force Company and the City Intelligence Unit.

DCPO City Director Police Colonel Peter Bauzon-Madria commended the operating team for the successful operation.

Madria said the DCPO remains committed to intensifying its campaign against illegal drugs through intelligence-driven operations and stronger community cooperation to help maintain peace and order in Davao City.

The two suspects are currently under police custody while the appropriate criminal charges are being prepared against them.
