TNT has scored a gold win at the recent SMARTIES Philippines, proving that a creative blend of entertainment and technology can turn everyday frustrations into an award-winning brand story.
The campaign launched in February 2026, featured paranormal investigator and content creator Ed Caluag in a hilarious haunted house adventure where network lag becomes a problem even for ghosts. Inspired by Caluag’s popular ghost-hunting content, the video creatively highlighted the importance of a fast and responsive mobile connection.
Developed with Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and Wavemaker Philippines – WPP Media, the campaign earned gold in the "Creator,Influencer,Celebrity Marketing" category. It drew more than 659 million impressions across Meta, Google, YouTube and TikTok.
The creative concept showcased TNT’s recognition for Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines in the Ookla Speedtest Awards, translating a technical network advantage into an entertaining and relatable experience for mobile users.
The recognition reinforces TNT’s commitment to creating engaging campaigns that connect with Filipino audiences while highlighting its network benefits, as the brand and Smart continue expanding their 5G coverage across the country.
