The hit mobile game known for its fast-paced, endless chases along train tracks is officially getting a follow-up. Titled Subway Surfers City, the sequel is set to launch on February 26.
A newly released trailer teases familiar faces sprinting through the streets of Subway City, once again evading the relentless Inspector and his trusty dog—this time with a refreshed look and expanded environments.
In an official Facebook announcement, the developers shared, "Subway Surfers City is a new way to experience the universe — featuring stunning visuals, handcrafted challenges, and new gameplay mechanics and modes that bring fresh energy to every run," highlighting what players can expect from the new installment.
As reported by Variety, the upcoming game will introduce four unique districts for players to explore: The Docks, Southline, Sunrise Blvd., and Delorean Park.
Players can also look forward to three gameplay modes—Classic Endless, City Tour, and Events—offering both familiar mechanics and new ways to play.
Subway Surfers City will be available as a free download on iOS, Android, and Google Play, with pre-registration currently open.
Originally developed by Kiloo and SYBO Games, Subway Surfers debuted in 2012 and quickly rose to global popularity, becoming one of the most successful mobile games of all time.
