San Antonio led 31-26 after the first quarter, but Oklahoma City responded in the second period, outscoring the Spurs to take a 58-51 halftime edge.
The Thunder maintained control in the third quarter, extending their advantage to 95-84 heading into the final period before finishing strong down the stretch.
Oklahoma City then delivered the knockout punch in the fourth, closing out the Spurs 123-108 to secure the road win and shift the series momentum.
Game 4 is set for the next matchup in the best-of-seven series.
