The TECNO CAMON Slim 5G is now available in the Philippines, bringing a 6.39mm-thin design, a 50MP Sony camera and a 6,000mAh battery to the local smartphone market.
Priced at ₱27,999, the device comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, expandable by up to 16GB through Extended RAM. It is available through TECNO stores nationwide and online via Shopee, TikTok Shop and Lazada.
The CAMON Slim 5G is built around TECNO's “Make It Lighter” concept, which focuses on making a smartphone easier to carry without compromising features intended for everyday use.
At 6.39mm thin, the device has a noticeably slim profile, but its design is not its only defining feature. It houses a 6,000mAh battery, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera and a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display.
A slim design with a practical side
Smartphone design often involves balancing portability with battery capacity and everyday performance. The CAMON Slim 5G takes a different approach by keeping its body thin while accommodating a large-capacity battery.
Its appearance also leans toward personal style, with the Burgundy Red variant combining deep red and brown tones in a matte finish. Matisse Black and Rebel Pink are also available, while Gossamer White is expected to arrive toward the end of October.
The 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display supports smooth scrolling and viewing, whether users are browsing social media, watching videos or reviewing photos.
The device also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, providing additional protection against certain environmental conditions. Actual protection depends on the conditions of use, and the ratings do not mean the phone is impervious to all damage.
A camera for moments that happen quickly
The CAMON Slim 5G features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera, with Super-Zoom FlashSnap designed to help capture subjects in motion.
The feature supports up to 2x telephoto snap shooting, offering additional framing options when photographing children, pets, friends and other subjects that may not stay still for long. The zoom capability can also be useful when taking pictures at sporting events or concerts.
Rather than focusing solely on posed portraits, the camera system is intended to accommodate spontaneous moments, where having the phone ready to shoot can make a difference.
A companion for everyday use
Despite its thin construction, the CAMON Slim 5G is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, designed to support daily activities such as commuting, working and staying connected throughout the day.
TECNO is also offering the MagBadge, a separate accessory designed to complement the smartphone. It features a 1.73-inch display, rear-camera preview, wireless media syncing and remote-shutter control.
Customers who purchase the CAMON Slim 5G during its first month of sale can receive a free MagBadge worth ₱5,999, subject to promotional terms and availability.
Launch discounts and other offers
To mark its Philippine release, TECNO is offering discounts at its offline stores from October 16 to 18, 2026.
The smartphone will be available for ₱24,999 on October 16 and 17, before increasing to ₱25,499 on October 18. Both prices are below its regular retail price of ₱27,999.
Additional gifts are available for the first 20 eligible pre-order customers who claim and purchase their devices during the designated period at SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA and SM Fairview. The gift set includes earbuds, a tumbler and a speaker, subject to promotional mechanics and while supplies last.
Customers can also explore installment options through TECNO's financing partners, including Home Credit, Skyro, Salmon, PayJoy, BillEase and Kredivo, as well as participating credit card providers. Depending on the partner and applicable promotion, offers may include installment terms of up to 24 months, zero downpayment and discounts or cashback.
